Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

Magic Beans is looking for an ambitious Azure Cloud Engineer to join its consulting team. You will work with leading organisations on cloud transformation, modernisation, and innovation projects, helping them adopt Azure services efficiently and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts and Network Security Groups.
• Assist in implementing cloud solutions that follow best‑practice guidelines for security, scalability and reliability.
• Monitor environments with Azure Monitor and provide troubleshooting support.
• Participate in Infrastructure‑as‑Code tasks using Terraform and basic PowerShell scripting.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides and cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve issues and improve cloud operations.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration and user access management in Microsoft Entra ID (desirable).

Required profile

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (required); Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ‑204) is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in cloud administration, IT support or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is a plus.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity).
• Azure CLI, Azure Portal.
• Version control with Git.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Python or Bash (basic).
• Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Azure Monitor.
