Architect Platform Security

About the role

The Architect Platform Security is the security subject‑matter expert within Vodafone TV’s architecture team. You will ensure security requirements, risk assessments and governance are embedded throughout the design and delivery lifecycle of TV products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the security authority and trusted advisor for the Vodafone TV platform ecosystem, defining and promoting secure architecture principles, standards and best practices.
• Provide security guidance during solution design, architecture reviews and project delivery, ensuring early and continuous alignment with Vodafone policies.
• Serve as the primary interface between Vodafone TV and Group Security functions, coordinating cyber security, supplier security, penetration testing, privacy, legal and compliance activities.
• Plan, track and obtain all required security assessments, memos, exceptions and governance approvals before production deployment.
• Translate security requirements into clear, actionable expectations for project teams and monitor risk mitigation through to closure.
• Maintain a current view of the security posture across platforms, services, applications and suppliers, driving consistent documentation and facilitating workshops and architecture reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in security architecture, risk assessment and governance within a large‑scale technology environment.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams, including architects, engineers, product owners and external suppliers.
