WordPress Webmaster

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a WordPress Webmaster for its client in Lisbon, which develops a leading cyber-security software product. The successful candidate will build and maintain a robust software suite, help deliver critical products and provide strong technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build impactful WordPress sites, adding standard and custom products such as images, content, options and motion graphics
• Build responsive, optimized, standards-based and cross-browser compatible sites, and optimize them for speed and efficiency
• Manage website updates with new content, landing pages and templates
• Act as subject matter expert on industry best practices, technology and trends
• Ensure designs and templates work across browsers and screen sizes within development and design constraints
• Work with marketing staff on style and approach for each project
• Analyze problems to resolve system or application issues
• Perform SEO analytics and optimization, and integrate HubSpot for partner and customer portals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Authorized to work in Portugal at the time of application
• Fluent English
• 3+ years of WordPress experience
• Deep understanding of responsive design best practices for mobile optimization
• Strong sense of site navigation, user interfaces, design, typography and branding
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and manage priorities without constant supervision

• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting WordPress plugins and themes
