Voice Architect – Cloud Communications

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Voice Architect to design and build cloud‑based voice, unified communications and AI‑enhanced contact‑center solutions. You will join a fast‑growing engineering team, turning product concepts into secure, scalable services that power real‑time communications for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud software that integrates voice, UC, contact‑center and AI capabilities.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for call control, media handling, presence, messaging, routing, conferencing and interoperability.
• Integrate AI services such as transcription, summarization, conversational intelligence and virtual agents into voice workflows.
• Develop reliable integrations with telephony, UC platforms and third‑party communication services.
• Troubleshoot complex real‑time communication issues across application, signaling, media, network and AI layers.
• Improve scalability, resiliency, security, observability and performance of real‑time services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–7 years of professional software development experience delivering production‑grade applications and services.
• Strong self‑starter attitude with ability to work across front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Experience in Agile development environments.

Required skills

• C# and .NET development.
• JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks (React or Angular).
• Designing, consuming and documenting REST APIs.
• Working with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of software design patterns, testing, code review and security best practices.
