VAT Compliance Consultant

About the role

The VAT Compliance Consultant provides VAT compliance services and advice to clients across multiple industries and countries. You will help clients make informed business decisions by monitoring VAT legislation changes and delivering tailored guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client business and transaction flows to ensure efficient VAT compliance and timely submission of declarations.
• Analyze client‑provided VAT data, prepare and validate VAT declarations in accordance with local legislation.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, preparing reports and advisory communications.
• Interact with tax authorities in various jurisdictions on behalf of clients.
• Manage information requests and audits from tax authorities.
• Assist senior staff with complex client matters and VAT registration/deregistration processes.
• Research VAT developments and maintain the internal VAT knowledge database.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Management, Economics or related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• At least two years of professional experience in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong internet navigation and research abilities.
