Transport Planner & Logistics Process Improvement Specialist

About the role

As a Transport Planner & Logistics Process Improvement Specialist you will drive logistics efficiency at Bosch's Aveiro site, supporting both inbound and outbound operations. You will lead initiatives that enhance service levels, on‑time delivery and overall operational performance through digitalisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics improvement projects focused on service levels, on‑time delivery and operational efficiency.
• Define, implement and document new processes, leveraging AI‑based solutions, automation and digital tools.
• Analyse logistics KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and support data‑driven decision making.
• Plan and execute daily outbound transport activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate transport schedules, resolve planning issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and support data analysis for operational decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in transport planning or logistics operations, including inbound and outbound coordination.
• Familiarity with SAP logistics processes; exposure to S/4HANA is a plus.
• Experience monitoring operational KPIs and supporting process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics, transport planning and warehouse operations.
