Transport Operations Specialist

About the role

Indie Campers is looking for a Transport Operations Specialist to manage regional fleet operations, ensuring high vehicle availability, quality, and efficiency across local depots.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and improve fleet and asset management procedures within the region.
• Maximize fleet availability through efficient in‑fleeting, intervention management, and de‑fleeting processes.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels at depots and handle spare parts procurement.
• Support local teams with vehicle interventions and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate vehicle movements and logistics with external providers.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with workshops, suppliers, and fleet partners.
• Monitor and optimize vehicle operating costs to improve regional performance.
• Assist with regional expansion projects and set up new locations.
• Track operational KPIs and use data to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Background in transport management, mechanics, engineering, logistics or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics coordination, procurement or operational management (preferred).
• Hands‑on, action‑oriented mindset with proactive problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and make data‑driven decisions.
• Detail‑oriented with consistent adherence to operational procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Team player with collaborative attitude and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience managing suppliers, workshops or logistics partners is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
