Trainee Buyer for IT Services – French Speaker

About the role

BNP Paribas is looking for a motivated Trainee Buyer to join its Procurement and Performance – Information Technology Services team. You will act on behalf of internal French‑speaking BNP Paribas entities, supporting the purchase of consulting, IT services, equipment, software and related goods while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist internal clients with purchasing requests, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely processing.
• Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and evaluate supplier offers.
• Prepare application contracts and verify adherence to regulatory and BNP Paribas framework requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, rigor and organizational ability.
• Dynamic, proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
