Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Inetum is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of automated testing practices across its digital services portfolio. You will work within an agile squad, ensuring high‑quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement best practices for test design, automation, and quality assurance.
• Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test scenarios.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks and improve product quality.
• Champion quality engineering principles within the squad.
• Challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and support continuous delivery practices.
• Share knowledge, contribute to QA communities, and help evolve testing practices organization‑wide.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience supporting production‑critical applications and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure management, automation, monitoring, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Background in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is valued.
