Técnico de Manutenção e Diagnóstico de Avarias (H/M) – Algarve

About the role

Otis is seeking a Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis Technician to join its Algarve delegation, covering the Portimão, Lagos and Lagoa area. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of elevators through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator systems.
• Adjust and calibrate mechanical components such as control systems, brakes, doors and drive mechanisms.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Document technical actions and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (12th grade) with a technical professional course in electricity, electromechanics, electronics, automation or mechanics (industrial mechanics optional).
• Previous experience in the elevator sector is preferred.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and teamwork.
