Técnico de Mantenimiento

About the role

The Maintenance Technician provides electrical, electronic and mechanical support for the plant’s equipment, utilities and facilities. Working on the Caguas site in Puerto Rico, you will ensure safe, reliable operation of packaging and process lines while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment in packaging, process and utilities areas according to Clorox and industry standards.
• Complete preventive and corrective work orders on time and document all maintenance activities.
• Train packaging and process operators on proper equipment operation.
• Provide recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and automatic control failures promptly.
• Support capital projects and plant initiatives, tracking progress against the maintenance plan.
• Participate in Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) initiatives, including autonomous maintenance and development of standard work.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and environmental compliance.
• Effective communication skills to train operators and collaborate with project teams.
