Tech Lead – Network Security Engineer (Banking Sector)

About the role

Devoteam Cyber Trust is looking for a Tech Lead to drive software development and automation for its Network Security team serving the banking sector. You will design and build internal tools, integrate security platforms, and ensure that network security operations are fully automated and code‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the software development strategy and technical automation roadmap for the Network Security team.
• Build advanced integrations and custom workflows using REST APIs from solutions such as VMware NSX and Fortinet.
• Develop and maintain web applications, internal tools, and automation dashboards using Python and the Django framework.
• Establish testing methodologies, code‑review practices, and clean‑architecture standards.
• Drive operational efficiency by automating routine network security management tasks.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with deep proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with Django.
• Excellent capability in consuming and integrating complex RESTful APIs.
• Solid grasp of core networking and security concepts to translate operational needs into robust code.
• Quality‑driven mindset focused on automated testing, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
