Team Manager, Software Development

About the role

TeamViewer is looking for a seasoned Team Manager to lead multiple engineering squads focused on the TeamViewer ONE solution. You will own the full service lifecycle, drive architectural decisions, and foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead two or more engineering teams building services for TeamViewer ONE.
• Own design, development, documentation, testing, tracking, and operations of services.
• Continuously improve delivery processes for sustainable quality gains.
• Define product road‑maps and guide system architecture.
• Ensure software meets top standards for usability, stability, performance, and security.
• Promote technical best practices and reusable solutions across teams.
• Provide technical, process, and methodological guidance while encouraging open feedback.
• Support personal and professional growth of team members.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, primarily building services and products.
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams with a proven track record.
• Strong data‑driven mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in high‑demand environments with a hands‑on mentality.
• Familiarity with integrating AI services or frameworks is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, TypeScript, C# or C++.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Hands‑on knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
