Systems Administrator (Storage)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator (Storage) to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our enterprise storage environment, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business data.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise storage platforms, including NAS environments.
• Configure and support SMB Windows shares integrated with DFS and Active Directory.
• Administer and troubleshoot NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe storage protocols.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage‑related incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems, and Network teams on strategic projects and platform improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in storage administration within enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major storage platform (NetApp, Dell Isilon, Hitachi VSP).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, SMB shares, and DFS.
• Experience with storage and file‑sharing protocols such as NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
