System Administrator – Hybrid, Lisbon

About the role

PrimeIT is seeking a System Administrator to join its rapidly expanding team in Lisbon. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote work, and is aimed at professionals with at least five years of hands‑on experience in system administration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure components such as network, DNS, DHCP and security services.
• Manage Windows environments, including OS deployment, WSUS updates, and integration with tools like Ansible and Centrify.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Ansible and Python to streamline operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability of services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project initiatives and improve architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and Windows architecture.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
• Mid‑level experience, able to work independently and within a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Windows OS, WSUS, Ansible, Centrify.
