Sustainability Project Manager

About the role

As a Sustainability Project Manager at Bosch Group in Aveiro, you will play a strategic part in shaping the company’s corporate sustainability agenda. You will work closely with local management and cross‑functional teams to embed sustainability frameworks across newly acquired businesses and drive circular‑economy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability frameworks for newly acquired companies, aligning with stakeholders and local management.
• Coordinate the rollout of sustainability policies, track relevant KPIs, and trigger corrective actions when needed.
• Monitor legal requirements, market trends, customer expectations and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities.
• Identify and launch high‑potential circular‑economy projects in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Lead sustainable product design efforts by partnering with R&D and Procurement to embed sustainability drivers into the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in a corporate sustainability role with a proven track record of stakeholder management and change leadership.
• Hands‑on experience with regulatory frameworks such as CSRD, circular‑economy concepts and sustainable product development.

Required skills

• Strong project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to define, monitor and analyse sustainability KPIs.
• Data‑analysis proficiency for sustainability reporting.
