About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist – Outbound Operations will lead projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives within the supply chain function of an automotive technology company. Based in Porto, the role focuses on outbound logistics and customer order processes, ensuring best‑practice implementation and alignment with business and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in supply‑chain projects and continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Define, implement and maintain best‑practice standards for outbound operations.
• Support functional teams during change implementation and project execution.
• Drive development and rollout of SCM‑related IT solutions.
• Improve freight, customer order management and related processes.
• Manage continuous‑improvement frameworks and benefit‑tracking systems.
• Establish, monitor and report on KPIs and operational performance indicators.
• Support demand coordination and central inventory best practices.
• Develop supply‑chain solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain, preferably outbound operations or customer management.
• Hands‑on experience with global material‑flow management and related systems.
• Strong project‑management and change‑management background.
• Solid financial acumen and ability to define and track KPIs.
