About the role
Join Coloplast's new manufacturing site in Portugal as a Supplier Quality Engineer, supporting the production process and ensuring raw material quality for the Continence Care segment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, execute and document quality activities with suppliers on site.
- Approve documentation related to raw materials and products.
- Manage complaint handling processes and support production troubleshooting.
- Facilitate failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and root cause investigations.
- Communicate with production, supply chain, and suppliers as the first line of contact.
Required profile
- Relevant academic background (B.Sc. or higher).
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, preferably in medical device production.
- Solid understanding of quality standards such as GDP and GMP.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Required skills
- Knowledge of quality documentation, certificates, contracts, QC, SCAR and CAPA processes.
- Experience with root cause analysis and failure analysis.
- Understanding of production value chain and end‑to‑end manufacturing.
