Supplier Product Quality Manager

About the role

As a Supplier Product Quality Manager at Bosch, you will ensure that purchased components meet Bosch’s high quality standards throughout the procurement process and the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to guarantee safety, reliability, and compliance of supplier parts.

Key responsibilities

• Secure product quality from initial sampling through series production.
• Approve components during sampling processes such as PPAP.
• Manage supplier complaints using methodologies like 8D.
• Initiate and track improvement measures to enhance supplier and process quality.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Logistics to maintain supplier product quality.
• Support quality assurance for new components and product launches.
• Monitor quality KPIs (e.g., PPM, complaint rates) and drive targeted actions.
• Promote continuous improvement across the supply chain.
• Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing or Complaint Management.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
