Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect

About the role

This position leads the Resident Office, shaping the vision, mission and direction of the organization while managing a diverse, inclusive workforce. The incumbent serves as the Resident Engineer responsible for multi‑million‑dollar construction contracts across the Caribbean and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement organizational strategy and oversee all work performed in the Resident Office.
• Provide personnel management for foreign‑national subordinates and guide technical efforts.
• Direct successful execution of large‑scale construction contracts throughout the Caribbean and Central/South America.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect.
• Ability to obtain Certified Acquisition Professional status within two years and hold an Administrative Contracting Officer Warrant.
• One‑year supervisory probation period and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with TDY exceeding 50% of time.

Required skills

• Construction management principles and professional engineering theories.
• Architectural design, structural analysis, materials properties and environmental control systems.
• Knowledge of engineering sciences such as statics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and electrical circuits.
