Subcontracts Administrator

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator for Life Sciences North America to manage contracting of professional and construction services, including small projects up to $50M. The role involves coordinating procurement transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate subcontract procurement transactions for assigned services.
• Act as lead on small projects (≤ $50M) and handle day‑to‑day subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Procurement Services, Subcontract Manager, Project Manager or Construction Manager.
• Apply best practices and procurement knowledge to solve basic problems and ensure task completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in construction contracting.
• 2‑5 years experience in biopharmaceutical/life‑science manufacturing projects (preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
