Store Manager

About the role

Torrid is seeking a Store Manager to lead an inclusive, high‑energy retail environment. You will guide a team to meet sales, profit, and customer experience goals while fostering a welcoming culture.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve company objectives and KPI targets for sales, profit, and loss prevention.
• Oversee daily operations including payroll, scheduling, reporting, and merchandise presentation.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain top talent focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
• Ensure a clean, consistent, and inviting store atmosphere that drives customer loyalty.
• Maintain open communication with the District Manager and corporate partners.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of specialty/apparel retail management experience with a proven track record.
• High School diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing retail trends.
• Physical ability to stand, lift packages up to 50 lb, and reach merchandise using ladders or poles.
