Store Manager

About the role

Carter’s is seeking a Store Manager to lead a retail location that serves families with babies and young children. You will be the first face of the brand, creating a welcoming environment for customers while coaching a team of associates to become product and brand experts.

Key responsibilities

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting, and develop succession plans by training and developing team members.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and recognizes performance.
• Grow future leaders by providing direction, delegating responsibilities, and investing in their development.
• Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading the Leader on Duty program and greeting customers warmly.
• Maintain store standards, visual merchandising, and inventory accuracy to meet sales targets.

• Strong coaching mindset, able to develop associates’ product knowledge and career growth.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and senior management.
