Statutory & Tax Senior Accountant – Portugal

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a detail‑oriented Statutory & Tax Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Portugal. You will be responsible for delivering statutory financial statements and ensuring tax compliance in a fast‑moving multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support the delivery of statutory financial statements in accordance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC).
• Execute corporate income tax (IRC), VAT and other local tax compliance activities accurately and on time.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing, including quarterly balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors and advisors as required.
• Monitor changes in local accounting and tax regulations and maintain strong controls and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory accounting and tax, preferably within a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards (SNC) and local tax regulations.
• Certified Contabilista Certificado (TOC/CC) – required.
