Solution Design Engineer – Intralogistics

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Design Engineer to join our System Integration team and create smart, efficient intralogistics solutions for our customers. This position offers early‑career engineers the chance to blend technical design, creativity and business exposure in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Managers and multidisciplinary teams to design tailored intralogistics solutions.
• Analyse customer requirements from both process and data perspectives.
• Develop conceptual automation solutions using our portfolio and market best practices.
• Support customer meetings with technical insights and presentations.
• Create and revise 2D/3D layouts in AutoCAD and assist with 3D visualisations.
• Perform performance calculations to define optimal system configurations.
• Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Software, Supply Chain and external partners.
• Assist in costing, technical proposal development and hand‑over to execution teams.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market trends and emerging automation technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in automation, intralogistics or industrial solutions.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, autonomous and team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish a plus, French nice to have.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (2D/3D) proficiency.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic data‑analysis capabilities.
