Software Project Leader – eBike Development

About the role

As an eBike Software Project Leader you will plan, coordinate and steer software deliveries for Bosch eBike development, ensuring on‑time releases while managing prototype and pre‑development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own planning and coordination of software releases, aligning with project milestones.
• Translate high‑level requirements into clear work packages for development teams.
• Drive capacity and resource planning together with developers and team leads.
• Steer software activities using an agile Kanban approach and track work in Jira.
• Coordinate deliveries across prototype, R&D and pre‑development phases.
• Identify risks, dependencies and conflicts early and drive their resolution.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Several years of experience in software project management, preferably in embedded systems or automotive/eBike.
• Strong technical understanding of software development and ability to assess effort.
• Proactive, autonomous working style with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
