Software Engineering Internship – eBike Systems

About the role

We are looking for a motivated student to join Bosch’s eBike Engineering team in Braga for a 4‑month curricular internship. You will work on cutting‑edge connected eBike systems, gaining hands‑on experience in software development and quality assurance within an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in testing and validation of eBike system components, both manually and with automated tools.
• Develop, run and optimise test scripts using Python or C/C++ to ensure software reliability.
• Support software and quality‑assurance activities for display units, remote units and controller systems.
• Collaborate with senior software and test engineers, participating in code reviews and sprint meetings.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree program.
• Strong interest in embedded software and automotive or micromobility technologies.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• C/C++ programming.
