Software Engineer – Java/Spring for Referential Data Platform

About the role

Inetum is seeking a Software Engineer to join a strategic project that enhances a referential data platform for financial statements and related datasets. The role involves working in a data‑driven environment, contributing to modern architecture, API development, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, secure, and scale backend architectures and services.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java 21 and the Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Implement and enhance data exposure solutions through APIs and microservices.
• Apply CI/CD best practices to industrialise solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and validate solutions.
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or Data‑focused Developer.
• Strong interest in hybrid technical‑functional roles and interacting with business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance, data management, or third‑party data environments is a plus.
