Software Engineer – Java/Spring for Referential Data Platform

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a strategic project that enhances a referential data platform used for managing financial statements and related datasets. The role involves building robust backend services, integrating multiple external data sources, and ensuring high‑quality, consistent data for business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, secure, and scale backend architectures and services.
• Implement Java 21 applications using the Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Expose data through APIs and micro‑services, applying CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Maintain software quality via unit testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience as a backend or data‑focused developer.
• Strong interest in hybrid technical and functional roles, interacting with both business and technology teams.
• Knowledge of data governance or third‑party data environments is a plus.
