Software Engineer – Java & Enterprise Platforms

About the role

Join SOFICO’s Porto team as a Software Engineer and help evolve the Miles Core platform, a leading solution for leasing, fleet, and mobility management. You will work on both back‑end and front‑end features, ensuring the system stays secure, performant, and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Extend Miles Core with new and improved generic features.
• Perform technical analysis, design, and implementation for back‑end and front‑end applications.
• Address non‑functional requirements such as security, performance, and platform upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance the stability, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality enterprise solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering role within an enterprise software product environment.
• Proficiency in Java and Java EE.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
