Software Engineer in Test – Quality Assurance (AI‑Enabled)

About the role

Feedzai is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to raise quality standards across multiple projects. You will champion a Quality‑First mindset, design AI‑enabled testing solutions, and ensure robust, scalable quality systems from design through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning – design flexible testing activities tailored to each project’s scope.
• Test Architecture Decision‑Making – select appropriate testing types (API, UI, integration, regression, E2E).
• Tooling & Infrastructure Development – build and improve CI pipelines, reporting dashboards, and test environments.
• Multi‑Project Ownership – balance several concurrent projects while maintaining high standards.
• Automation Engineering – write and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Python and Bash.
• Agile Mentorship – guide teams on Scrum practices and a Quality‑First mindset.
• AI & Intelligent QA Tooling – integrate AI agents, custom skills and prompt engineering to streamline quality assurance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (pods, deployments, helm charts).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and sprint processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Git version control, branching strategies and PR reviews.
• Proficiency in Java, Python and Bash scripting within Unix/Linux environments.
• Extensive experience in API, UI and integration testing integrated into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with AI agents, prompt engineering and related concepts for intelligent test automation.
