Software Engineer – Impact Fintech

About the role

Goparity is looking for a Software Engineer to help build and evolve its impact‑finance platform. You will join a multicultural, remote‑first team and contribute to products that connect sustainable projects with investors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver new backend features from discovery through rollout.
• Maintain platform reliability and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers and product owners to ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in backend and API development.
• Strong curiosity for AI‑supported software engineering.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and good communication in English.
• Resident in Portugal or Spain.

Required skills

• PHP (or Python, Ruby, C#, Java)
• Vue.js (optional but a plus)
• Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Database design and querying
• Git version control
• Automated testing and continuous delivery pipelines
• Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants
