Software Engineer II (Mid-Level)

Join Iterable, the AI-powered customer engagement platform used by global brands like Redfin, SeatGeek, and Calm. As a Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in building scalable web applications that drive meaningful customer experiences for over 1,200 brands worldwide.

Main Missions

• Execute and own small-to-medium scale technical projects with high autonomy.
• Collaborate proactively with team members to design and implement scalable web applications.
• Prioritize tasks effectively with minimal guidance while aligning with team objectives.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve existing processes and technical workflows.
• Anticipate potential technical obstacles and manage stakeholder expectations proactively.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform reliability and performance.

Profile Required

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain scalable web applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on defined tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for remote environments.
• Ability to seek diverse feedback and form well-reasoned technical opinions.
• Must be authorized to work within the European Union.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (ideally Scala or Java).
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
