Software Engineer I – Scalable Web Applications

About the role

Iterable is looking for a Software Engineer I to help shape the future of AI‑driven customer engagement. You will work on scalable web applications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to innovative solutions that power global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive, well‑thought‑out development tasks.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates to design optimal solutions.
• Form and share technical opinions while gathering diverse input.
• Recommend improvements to existing processes and anticipate potential roadblocks.
• Manage expectations and accurately estimate effort for deliverables.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with building scalable web applications.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Scala or Java.
• Exposure to Elasticsearch and/or PostgreSQL.
• Interest in working in a highly remote or distributed environment.
