Software Engineer - Customer Success

About the role

Feedzai’s Customer Success Engineering team works directly with clients to deliver installations, configurations, and customizations of its fraud‑risk scoring platform. As a Software Engineer you will act as a technical consultant, helping clients solve complex integration and performance challenges. This role combines client‑facing responsibilities with hands‑on software development.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full software development life cycle to build integrations and enhancements for Feedzai’s core product.
• Write well‑designed, testable Java code and develop custom inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Integrate multiple software components, including SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud services, and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems while ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Deploy and support solutions in production environments and provide second‑tier support for live clients.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver quality features and product upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Java software development or another modern programming language.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Proven client‑engagement experience and ability to work in a consultative manner.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
