Software Engineer (C#) – Porto

About the role

Farfetch is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Technology team in the Porto office. You will work on end‑to‑end products that power the global luxury fashion marketplace, collaborating with product and business teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise software solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance the existing project portfolio, ensuring rigorous testing and code review.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing and debugging.
• Expand the modular architecture by creating reusable libraries.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in object‑oriented programming, particularly C#.
• Passion for code quality and best practices in modern software development.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions.
• Experience in agile environments is a plus.
