Software Engineer Backend - AI

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Backend Software Engineer focused on AI to design and build the services that power its Agent Studio platform. You will turn advanced AI and agentic technologies into reliable, scalable product capabilities that enable users to create, configure, test, deploy, and manage AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build capabilities for agent lifecycle management, including configuration, orchestration, workflow execution, and monitoring.
• Develop integration points that allow agents to interact securely with Intermedia products, enterprise applications, data sources, and external services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, AI/ML engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Ensure performance, reliability, security, and scalability meet enterprise standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a backend engineer solving complex technical problems.
• Ability to build extensible, high‑quality products and work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Strong interest in AI/ML technologies and large language model integration.
