Software Engineer – AI (Microservices & LLMs)

About the role

Join our team and contribute to the development of scalable software solutions based on modern microservice architectures. In this role, you will work across the software development lifecycle, from designing and implementing new features to deploying and optimizing applications in production. You will also have the opportunity to work with emerging AI/ML and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance software within a microservice architecture, writing clean and efficient code.
• Write and maintain unit tests, participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
• Deploy applications using Kubernetes and Helm, following modern CI/CD practices.
• Design, develop and test REST APIs and work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Integrate AI/ML, Generative AI and Large Language Models into software solutions.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software development and modern software architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to software quality.
• Excellent written and spoken English for international collaboration.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) programming language.
• C and/or Python.
• REST API development.
• PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Git version control.
• Kubernetes and containerisation (Helm).
• CI/CD pipelines.
• AI/ML, Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• LangChain or similar AI frameworks.
• React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
