Software Developer – Ground Control System (GCS)

About the role

Tekever is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, build, and evolve its Ground Control System (GCS), the core platform that plans, monitors, and controls unmanned aircraft missions worldwide. You will work on real‑time flight systems, mission tooling, payload control, communications, and operator workflows while helping the team adopt AI‑assisted engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components of the GCS using C#/.NET.
• Implement robust real‑time telemetry, mission planning, payload operations, and operator workflow modules.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing codebases.
• Design APIs, messaging flows, asynchronous pipelines, and multi‑threaded components for high‑availability environments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions on modularity, data flows, and error handling.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate development, refactoring, documentation, and testing.
• Promote automation, CI/CD, and tooling that reduce manual effort.
• Ensure high‑quality code through testing, structured logging, instrumentation, and monitoring.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in C# and .NET (Framework or .NET 6+).
• Experience building real‑time, high‑availability or mission‑critical systems.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and collaborate with architects and product owners.
