Social Media Manager – Global Travel Brand

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to shape a global social media presence for a fast‑growing travel brand. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to influence community growth across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑platform social media strategies based on consumer insights, cultural trends, and business objectives.
• Own the end‑to‑end social content calendar, balancing evergreen campaigns, cultural moments, and reactive opportunities.
• Guide content creators, producers, agencies and internal teams to deliver platform‑native, high‑impact content.
• Monitor social conversations, sentiment and performance metrics to continuously optimise strategy.
• Lead crisis‑management coordination with PR, Customer Support and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, community growth or related roles.
• Proven ability to translate consumer insights and cultural trends into compelling campaigns.
• Strong strategic thinking, creative judgment and data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across creative, marketing, PR and customer‑facing teams.

Required skills

• Deep expertise with TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Hands‑on experience using social listening, sentiment analysis and performance analytics tools.
• Experience managing content creators, social producers and external agencies.
