Social Media Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro’s social channels, creating platform‑native content and engaging the community for our crypto trading platform.

Key responsibilities

• Craft scroll‑stopping content for X, Telegram and other platforms to maximize reach.
• Monitor trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and create timely on‑brand posts.
• Engage actively with the Kraken Pro audience through replies, quotes, polls and memes.
• Maintain an always‑on content calendar, handling creation, approvals, scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Translate product and ecosystem updates into clear narratives.
• Track growth metrics, iterate based on insights and collaborate with Legal/Comms for compliant messaging.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in social or content roles, preferably in fintech, crypto or trading.
• Demonstrated portfolio of high‑performing posts (own or brand accounts).
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and handle fast‑moving social channels.
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills.

Required skills

• High AI competency for content creation.
• Proficiency in creating copy, memes, short‑form video, charts and threads.
• Experience using design tools such as Figma or video tools like CapCut.
