SOC Analyst – Security Operations (Level 1/2)

About the role

Join Aubay Portugal’s Security Operations team and provide Level 1/2 technical support for security across Euronext cash and derivatives markets. You will monitor, analyse, and protect critical assets from cyber‑threats while working in a 24/7 operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/2 technical support for security operations, focusing on IT security.
• Monitor, analyse, and respond to alerts from security monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot security incidents, malware, and cyber‑attacks, delivering effective solutions.
• Manage security changes following change‑management processes and drive continuous service improvements.
• Prioritise, track, and coordinate security tickets in line with SLAs, escalating issues when necessary.
• Participate in a 24/7 operational team covering Euronext market hours.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a SOC, security operations, or equivalent cybersecurity environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (minimum B2) and ability to work well in a team.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new security products and network technologies without formal training.
• Excellent prioritisation and incident‑management skills, with a focus on meeting SLAs.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with security monitoring tools such as Darktrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty or equivalents.
• Solid knowledge of network infrastructures: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
• Ability to troubleshoot security and networking issues and identify appropriate solutions quickly.
