Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at PMI focuses on improving the reliability, operability, and observability of production services. You will work hands‑on with live systems, troubleshoot complex incidents, and drive continuous improvement through automation and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to provide real‑time visibility.
• Maintain and evolve dashboards, alert configurations, and automation scripts using infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation.
• Assist teams in adopting Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), ensuring accurate data collection and usage.
• Leverage AI‑assisted features in observability tools for anomaly detection, noise reduction, and automated remediation.
• Interact with external vendors as a technical point of contact for tooling integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Apply defined SRE standards and frameworks consistently across services.

Required profile

• Strong execution orientation with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
• Solid understanding of modern observability, monitoring, and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with AI‑enhanced observability capabilities and their operational impact.
• Effective communication skills for vendor collaboration and cross‑team support.
• Commitment to applying SRE best practices rather than defining organizational strategy.
