Ships Agency Husbandry Agent – Lisbon

About the role

Wilhelmsen’s Port Services Husbandry team in Lisbon is looking for a Ships Agency Husbandry Agent. You will work from the Alcântara office, coordinating all husbandry services for vessels calling Portuguese ports and supporting smooth, safe, and compliant port calls.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for ship masters, principals, authorities and suppliers.
• Organise crew changes, cash‑to‑master, spare‑parts deliveries and other essential services.
• Ensure port calls are executed safely, efficiently and in line with local regulations.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic operational environment.
• Provide problem‑solving and coordination support, often outside standard office hours.

Required profile

• Responsible, reliable and service‑oriented.
• Eager to learn and develop in the role.
• Flexible and able to adapt to operational demands.
• Capable of working independently while being a strong team player.
• No prior shipping or husbandry experience required; a strong work ethic is essential.

Required skills

• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer skills.
