Service Technician (m/f/d)

About the role

Join Nordex as a Service Technician and play a key part in maintaining and repairing wind turbines. You will work on‑site, ensuring safety, reliability and optimal performance of our renewable energy assets.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety instructions and work safely with materials and personnel.
• Analyse defects via phone contact with the Service Coordinator.
• Perform autonomous simple repairs, troubleshooting and fault‑finding on turbines.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities together with subcontractors.
• Complete reports and checklists to keep the Local Operation Manager fully informed.
• Check spare‑part inventory and manage on‑site material.
• Monitor booked service reports and steer the service process to ensure correct expense booking.

Required profile

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take responsibility.
• Readiness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.
• Computer literate with ability to use MS Office and internal databases/workload management systems.
• Willingness to undergo training.
• Ability to work at heights and climb turbine structures daily.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
