Senior Strategy Consultant

About the role

Taib Group is seeking a sharp, analytical Senior Strategy Consultant to join its Group Strategy team in Lisbon. Reporting to the EVP of Strategy, you will operate at the heart of the Group’s strategic decision‑making, supporting portfolio companies and the corporate centre across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Taib Group’s corporate strategy across portfolio companies, sectors and regions.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis and strategic assessments to inform Group‑level decisions.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, partnerships and new market entries from screening through execution support.
• Build financial models, business cases and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and the Chairman.
• Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to ensure alignment with Group priorities.
• Prepare high‑quality materials for board meetings, investor engagements and executive discussions.
• Track key strategic initiatives and assist with implementation across business units.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, International Relations or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate strategy, M&A, investment or management consulting.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience working on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects, preferably in international or emerging‑market contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• High level of ownership, intellectual rigor and discretion.
