Senior Specialist – Global Purchasing & Planning Operations

About the role

The Senior Specialist GPS POM will optimise and execute integrated purchasing, global supply planning and purchase order management activities. The role ensures on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) and on‑time‑allocation (OTA) performance, supports market service level agreements and aligns factory capacity with market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and support availability through risk‑mitigating actions.
• Communicate with Liaison Offices to optimise capacity use, understand supply constraints and develop mitigation plans.
• Own process documentation, testing and enhancements for assigned business processes.
• Support project implementation and drive system and process improvements across divisions and brands.
• Handle ticketing tools daily to ensure market and factory support, and execute order‑management actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and global functional teams.
• Escalate and resolve complaints and issues as needed.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across systems, performing quality checks on team output.
• Execute day‑to‑day and period‑end processing in line with internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, planning or information systems (Master’s a plus).
• 2‑5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in accessories, apparel or footwear.
• Service‑minded, consumer‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
• Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
