Senior Software Engineer - Customer Success

About the role

At Feedzai we are building a world of safer money by using trusted AI to detect and prevent financial crime. The Customer Success Engineering team works directly with clients to ensure that every technical aspect of our product—installation, configuration, and customization—is delivered smoothly and at the highest standard. As a senior engineer you will act as a technical consultant, helping clients solve complex and unique challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full software development life cycle, including building integrations and enhancements to Feedzai core product.
• Write well‑designed, testable Java code and integrate multiple software components into a functional system.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems, and deploy and support them in production.
• Provide second‑tier support for live clients and ensure proper feature deployment or product upgrades.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering best practices in software development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of extensive Java software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of thread and JVM memory management in high‑performance systems.
• Client‑engagement experience with the ability to act as a consultant.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
