Senior Research Analyst – Consultant (Lisbon)

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors Research Center (ARC) is seeking a Senior Research Analyst – Consultant to join its European team in Lisbon. You will help transform data into actionable insights, supporting clients worldwide with high‑quality research products and strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch new research products and strategies efficiently.
• Leverage existing research assets to deliver impactful outputs for clients.
• Conduct primary research (quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, focus groups, online communities) and generate key insights.
• Complement primary findings with secondary research and analysis of large datasets.
• Prepare clear, client‑ready presentations and written deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a research agency or client‑side research function.
• Proven track record executing both quantitative and qualitative primary research.
• Strong ability to analyse large datasets and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills, comfortable contributing to client calls and internal discussions.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools.
