Senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator to join a large‑scale enterprise infrastructure environment. You will own the administration and evolution of Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms, focusing on automation, high availability, virtualization, storage and security.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL servers in production.
• Manage server provisioning, patching, upgrades, hardening and lifecycle activities.
• Automate operations with Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX and Playbooks.
• Maintain Red Hat Satellite for provisioning, patching and content management.
• Support identity services such as Red Hat IDM and OpenLDAP.
• Operate Linux HA clusters using Pacemaker, Corosync, OpenSVC or Veritas.
• Manage VMware environments and enterprise SAN storage.
• Monitor availability, performance, security and compliance, and perform root‑cause analysis of incidents.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Linux Systems Administration, primarily with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience in medium or large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux patching, upgrades, troubleshooting and hardening.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible automation and Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Experience with Linux clustering / high‑availability technologies.
• Familiarity with VMware and enterprise storage/SAN solutions.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, authentication services and networking concepts.
